Joseph Colacino has 40 years as a tax preparation specialist in Park Slope Brooklyn. Joe has a long standing relationship with this community after working with his father at an early age in a laundromat business and with his grandparents who had a supermarket across the street from PS 10 on 7th Avenue and Prospect Avenue. With the help of his wife Joanne, Joseph originally started Joe’s Tax as a modest storefront, accommodating neighborhood customers with tax preparation. Joe has established a strong reputation of providing the highest level of income tax knowledge and advice to individuals, families and small businesses. Prior to Colacino Tax, Joseph served as a Captain with the New York Fire Department retiring after 26 years of service.

Richard Colacino, CFP® is a tax preparation specialist with Colacino Tax, and brings 28 years of financial and investment knowledge to the business. In his prior experience, Richard worked for Morgan Stanley and Oppenheimer as an institutional sales trader. Wanting to service clients on a more personal level, Richard joined his father in 2002, and has helped to contribute to the growth and legacy of this family business. Since 2003, Richard has also been a Financial Advisor, and offers securities and investment advisory services through Osaic Wealth, Inc. member FINRA/SIPC.  Additional advisory services offered through RC Financial Planning, a registered investment advisor.
